111C Plantation Acres, Tengah
This Plantation Acres Tengah HDB home’s kitchen leans into a modern-dark, wabi-sabi luxe mood — rich walnut-toned carpentry wrapped in soft, warm lighting so the space feels moody, calm, and cocoon-like.

Modern dark wood kitchen design
Full-height dark wood carpentry creates a seamless “hotel-suite” look, with clean lines and minimal visual clutter. Continuous warm LED cove/undercab lighting washes the backsplash and counter, highlighting the wood grain and giving the whole run a cosy glow at night. A sleek black glass hob + concealed hood line keeps the cooking zone tidy and understated. The palette stays intentional: deep espresso timber + matte dark base cabinets + warm-toned backsplash/countertop, so the kitchen feels grounded and premium without screaming for attention.Practical details still show up: long counter run for staging dishes, and a dedicated appliance corner that tucks daily items away neatly.
Long island prep table (made for someone who loves to cook)
The extra-long island becomes the heart of the kitchen: a generous prep runway for chopping, mixing, plating — and still enough space for someone to sit nearby while you cook. As a prep station, it supports a great workflow: prep → cookline → plate/serve with minimal back-and-forth. The island’s clean, uninterrupted surface also makes it perfect for baking, hotpot nights, or extensive meal-preperation, while the warm lighting keeps everything feeling inviting even during late-night cooking sessions.
