316 Tengah Parc Glen

🌿 Nature-Infused Entryway. A custom bench sits in this Tengah home that integrates a real tree rooted directly into the carpentry — blurring the line between built and organic. This thoughtful feature sets the tone for the home, embodying calm, grounded living while showcasing craftsmanship that celebrates natural textures and understated beauty. Stepping through the entryway, visitors are greeted by a seamless wall of cabinetry that conceals storage within warm wood tones.

🪵 Cement-Washed Statement Wall & Bar Lookout. Beyond the entry lies a cement stone-washed feature wall that wraps the bomb shelter, transforming a functional element into an architectural highlight. Back-lit shelving adds depth and character, becoming a personal gallery for books, art, and collectibles. One of the bedroom walls were hacked to create a bar counter near the window. The bar lookout connects the kitchen and living area through soft curves and tonal continuity — a cozy corner for coffee, casual meals, or quiet reflection under gentle natural light.

Tranquil Bedroom in Limewashed Turquoise. In the bedroom, soothing turquoise limewash becomes a statement of calm and individuality. The color softly envelops the space, complementing the wood cabinetry’s tactile warmth. A custom slide-and-fold wardrobe maximizes function while maintaining a clean visual rhythm. Beside it, a recessed niche backed with turquoise limewash becomes a serene vignette — tying the entire home together through a cohesive palette and a refined sense of tranquility.

The homeowners designed and envisaged a wabisabi, mid century modern styled-home. Hence, they chose this dark calming color palette for bedroom and bright toned color palette for the living and kitchen space.
