Bedok Reservoir Road Baywater

A disciplined monochrome palette home in Bedok’s Baywater condominium, tactile greys, matte black detailing, and layered warm lighting—delivering sleek contemporary living with just the right dose of softness

Living Room:

A moody, gallery-like lounge anchored by a smoky micro-cement TV wall. Low built-ins run the length of the room with matte white fronts and black shadow lines for a razor-clean profile. Vertical ribbed panels and amber light blades bookend the composition, adding warmth and height. The opposite wall continues the cabinetry language with a slim ledge and pocket niche—perfect for small sculptures—keeping the space refined yet personal. There is a glass partitioned room next to the living room adding a space for working from home use yet maintaining the monochrome palette.

Dining Peninsula:

Between lounge and kitchen, a bar-height peninsula acts as the social hub. Upholstered bar stools in soft grey face a thin, dark top and under-glow lighting, visually floating the counter while maintaining the home’s monochrome discipline. It’s equal parts breakfast bar, work perch, and serving station for entertaining.

Kitchen:

A sleek, hard-working U-shaped kitchen in matte black uppers, matte white lowers, and charcoal quartz tops. A light veined backsplash and continuous warm LED strips provide contrast and task light, while integrated appliances and handle-less fronts keep sightlines calm. The palette ties directly back to the living room for a seamless, open-plan read.

Primary Bedroom:

Serene and sculptural: a dark upholstered bed base sits against a textured headboard panel with a delicate cove wash. A vertical ribbed fin with a warm light slit adds drama; full-height blinds wrap the corner windows, softening daylight and emphasizing the room’s horizontal calm. Storage is concealed to preserve the minimalist silhouette.

Bedroom with Study:

Purpose-built for productivity and display. A tall wardrobe integrates an illuminated glass display column for collectibles. An L-shaped work desk sits by the window, paired with a compact daybed in grey and white. Brass-tinted lighting warms the monochrome shell, making the room equally suited to deep work or overnight guests.
