This HDB apartment uses blue as the main personality colour, but in different strengths so every area feels connected without looking repetitive. From the soft sky blue in the living and dining area to the deeper navy tones in the kitchen, bathroom vanity and bedrooms, the home feels fresh, playful and modern while still staying practical for everyday living.

Living Room

The living room brings in a fun, airy character with its curved TV feature wall and soft blue backdrop. The rounded “drop” shape around the TV gives the space a gentle, playful movement, while the curved cove ceiling mirrors the same flow above. Paired with warm vinyl flooring, sheer curtains and a neutral sofa, the blue tones feel light and calming rather than loud. It’s a space that feels cosy enough for daily lounging, yet helm a strong design moment for guests to notice.

Dining & Display Area

The dining zone continues the blue story with a brighter blue wall that gives the area a cheerful lift. The display cabinet adds a more personal touch, turning collectibles, bottles and keepsakes into part of the home’s styling instead of hiding them away. With soft lighting inside the glass cabinet and curved detailing around the nearby niches, the whole area feels like a mini showcase corner that is both functional and full of character.

Kitchen

The kitchen goes for a bolder, sleeker shade of blue with deep navy lower cabinets and island panels. This darker tone grounds the space nicely, while the white marble-look upper cabinets and backsplash keep the kitchen bright and clean. The mix of white, navy, black frames and warm under-cabinet lighting gives the kitchen a modern café-like mood.

Bathroom

The bathroom carries the same blue theme in a more polished way, with a deep blue vanity set against white marble-look wall tiles and darker grey floor tiles. Large mirror cabinets help the bathroom feel wider, while the glass shower screen keeps the layout looking neat, bright and easy to maintain.

Master Bedroom

The master bedroom uses a stronger blue feature wall above the headboard to create a calm but confident focal point. The lower neutral grey headboard balances the boldness of the blue, making the room feel lighter and more restful. Round side lamps add warmth and softness.

Common Room

The common room takes on the same stronger blue wall, creating a focused and slightly more energetic setup. The blue keeps the room youthful and bold, while the neutral furniture prevents the space from feeling too heavy.

Overall Style

Overall, this HDB feels like a modern playful home with soft curves and confident blue accents. The curves soften the home’s layout, while the different blue hues help zone each area naturally — light blue for openness, navy for depth, and grey-blue tones for a calmer everyday feel. It’s fun, functional and very much designed for homeowners who want their home to feel personal without going over the top.
