This apartment at The Vales condominium carries a warm, modern contemporary look with soft neutral tones, wood textures, curved forms and practical built-in carpentry. The design feels cosy without being too heavy, using a mix of cream, taupe, warm brown, marble textures and soft lighting to create a homely yet refined atmosphere.

There is also a nice balance between display and storage — the home is not just designed to look good, complementing the homeowners’ daily lifestyle, collections and family routines.

Living Room

With the concealed lighting, it creates a gentle glow that makes the living room feel more spacious and atmospheric.

The TV feature wall is designed with full-height carpentry in warm wood tones, giving the living room a grounded and cosy focal point. The TV is neatly framed within the built-in unit, while the surrounding panels help conceal storage and keep visual clutter away.

What makes it more interesting is the display shelving integrated beside the TV wall. The lit display shelves turn the homeowners’ collectibles into part of the design story, adding personality and a playful touch to the otherwise warm contemporary palette.

Dining Area

The mirrored wall behind the dining area gives the home a subtle vintage touch. The black frame detailing and arched pattern add character, almost like a classic café or boutique-style feature. It visually expands the dining zone while reflecting light from the window. Settee-style seating in warm wood gives the dining area a cosy café-like feel.

Usage of warm pendant lights above the dining space helps define the area, creating a comfortable transition between the kitchen and living room.

Kitchen

The kitchen keeps to a clean, functional and modern look with warm wood cabinetry, light countertops and subtle marble-effect surfaces. The palette is practical but still soft, allowing it to blend naturally with the rest of the home.

The kitchen layout feels efficient and easy to use, with the dining island acting as a bridge between food preparation, casual dining and family interaction. The mix of wood tones, cream surfaces and warm lighting, maintains a neat and streamlined appearance in the kitchen
