Monochrome Poise — an elegant black-and-white landed home in Singapore

Living gallery. A sculptural grey disc with concealed cove lighting anchors the lounge, its slim black ledges staging art like a gallery wall. A curved, low-profile sofa and matte black daybed sit on large-format white marble floors, the crisp lines softened by organic greenery and a mirrored, tiered coffee table. Track and linear lights slice the tall ceiling, while the glass-balustrade stair draws the eye through the open plan.

Dining & dry bar. A long white-veined slab table floats on a matte black base, flanked by charcoal chairs and a linear pendant for runway drama. At the end wall, a graphite dry bar with glass-fronted shelves and precise LED strips turns glassware into display, paired with bold art—one ink piece, one textured vermilion—for a refined East-meets-modern contrast. The palette stays strict: stone white, soft grey, and inky black, finished in satin sheens.

Wardrobe & vanity. A dedicated dressing area pairs smoked-glass cabinets and graphite millwork with museum-style lighting that spotlights handbags and garments. A backlit full-height mirror and rounded vanity stool maintain the home’s language of clean lines and gentle curves.

Entertainment room. A minimalist games lounge features a custom table, slim utility trolleys, and a compact pantry with wine chiller—black hardware against white walls for crisp definition. Across the home, disciplined geometry, concealed lighting, and rich textures prove that strict monochrome can feel warm, tailored, and effortlessly elegant.
